Tutoring Services

Tutoring Services

Any Newman student may receive in-person help from a subject tutor by a scheduled appointment OR as a drop-in student. Drop-ins will receive help on a first come, first served basis and only when a tutor is available. Subject tutors are qualified to help with at least 2000-level coursework in biology, chemistry, math, nursing, physics, writing, and more. Subject tutors come recommended by Newman faculty, receive ongoing training, and may have firsthand experience in your course or with your professor.

Tutors work in the Student Success Center on the first floor of Dugan Library! Each tutor will have a table top sign designating their tutoring subject(s) and name. Ask an SSC assistant for help if you can't locate your tutor or need help scheduling an appointment.

Read our mission statement and promise to students.
