The Institutional Review Board (IRB), also known as the Human Subjects Review Committee, reviews all research that is done with human subjects by Newman University faculty, staff or students, or research that is done on Newman University faculty, staff, or students. The committee ensures proper protection of the rights and welfare of the individuals involved, with consideration of the methods used to gain informed consent and the justification of risks in terms of the potential benefits to be gained.
Applications are accepted on continuous basis.
